Okay, so maybe this blogger site has become my way to semi vent/complain. If you don't like it then just don't read it. Okay that was mean, but seriously don't if you don't like what I have to say.
So anyway, a good amount of my friends have boyfriends or girlfriends. Now I know when you have a boyfriend or girlfriend you like them a lot, and all that jazz. Though, must we say "I love you" after one day? Many people I know get a boyfriend or girlfriend and after one day, one week, or one month maybe they decide they "love" this person. Seriously, how do you have such a strong emotional feeling towards a person after this amount of time.

Yeah, so if you read all of that you're a better person then me because I didn't. Haha. Like I was saying, love is more then a word. It's more then just a like. It's something so strong I don't even know what it is. To be completely honest I don't know what it is. It's something I have not yet in my 17 years of life has expierienced. I love my family. I love my friends. That love is so much more different though. It's a great care for people that mean a lot to you and and are important to you. It's different then being in love. I think? Wow, I think I have just confused myself. I guess what I'm trying to say is in my opinion I just don't understand how so many teenagers tell their boyfriend or girlfriend they love one another after making out for 3 hours. Do you honestly know a person and know you love them and want to spend forever with them after a day, a week, or a month?
After reading this entry over again I guess I'm sort of talking about love at first sight. To be totally honest I don't believe in it at all. Maybe because I've never expiercenced love and if I have I never knew it. I've had a thousand crushes since kindergarten and love has never crossed my mind with any of those boys.
Highschool loves are so overrated... or are they?
Yea, maybe when you're around your special person you feel this undescribable feeling, but is it REALLY love? How far would you go for that person, honestly? And in my opinion the meaning of "love" for one person may be different for another.
Bob might think that pulling his hair and sticking gum in it is love, while Susey may think holding hands and sharing an ice cream is love.
I'm not saying its a BIG difference,
but each person puts in their little inserts on what love is. They paint their own picture of it in a way.
But overall, like Jacky said, love is a word that should when you REALLY mean it.
1 Corinthians 13
Love is patient
Love is kind
It does not envy
It does not boast
It is not proud
It is not rude
It is not self-seeking
It is not easily angered
It keeps no record of wrongs
Love does not delight in evil
But rejoices in the truth
It always protects
Always trusts
Always hopes
Always perseveres
Love never fails
When I was a child
I talked like a child
I thought like a child
I reasoned like a child
When I became an adult
I put childish ways behind me
Then, I saw but a poor reflection
As in a mirror
Now, I see face to face
Then, I knew only in part
Now, I know fully
And I am fully known
And now these three remain
Faith
Hope
Love
But the greatest of these is
Love
And like you said, love is too complicated. There is no explanation for it. It's a feeling and not a thing.
I also think we abusive the word love too much. We use it to describe food, people, places, animals, even our clothes.
Then there are some people that think they truely love someone when they don't even understand the whole meaning of it.
Love is a powerful word. Sometimes it even scares people. Or gives them a false sense of secruity.
